I grew up in East Tennessee.  At age 13, I started playing guitar and singing.  I gave my first public concert in Oak Ridge, TN at age 16.

When I was 19, I moved to Nashville, roomed with a fellow songwriter and was quickly signed by ABC-Dunhill.  The same label that managed Jimmy Buffett and many others.

I started releasing my music on social media and now have millions of plays worldwide.
